City council president, Kevin Jourdain, was caught illegally parked at the bus stop in front of city hall last Tuesday night. A photo of his car was posted anonymously to SeeClickFix with a description stating, "This car is often parked illegally in front of city hall between no parking signs for the PVTA stop." The Council President was attending a city council ordinance committee meeting at the time.
It's not known who the anonymous SeeClickFixer is. Users can check a box to "Keep this anonymous," and the service will make sure it can't be traced to them: it doesn't list their name on the issue, or list it on their profile page.
It's also not know if a citation was issued, or why Mr Jourdain parked at the bus stop instead of the city hall parking lot.
One commentator on SeeClickFix named RedOak posted: "This is a slap in the face of every law abiding Holyoke resident. The Holyoke police should make an example of this arrogant person."
